What We Do
Quartet19 have travelled all over the UK performing many different programs to a wide range of audiences from concert halls to care homes and everything in-between. Here are some of the concerts they have to offer:
Recitals
Quartet19's recitals offer a mix of popular classics, accessible contemporary works and family favourites. All played on a mixture of tuned and untuned percussion presented in a relaxed and informative manner.
Repertoire will include pieces from Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Dave Brubeck and everything in-between.
Family Concerts
Quartet19's family concerts are fun for the whole family! Offering lots of family favourites showcasing the full range of tuned and untuned percussion instruments, including interactive pieces to get everyone involved. We aim to make our family concerts assessable to everyone and hope to inspire our audience with our exciting program, relaxed presentation (and maybe a costume change or two!)
Repertoire will include pieces from Disney, John Willams, Interactive pieces and much more.
Workshops
Quartet19 also offer workshops in tuned and un-tuned percussion. They have a vast amount of experience delivering workshops in a range of settings (primary/secondary/SEN/mental health/community) and are happy to adapt their workshops to suit the needs of a group.
They are a recognised ensemble for Live Music Now and have worked closely with groups such as Children's Musical Adventures and Oduo delivering workshops all over the UK.
